In many sweaters the restriction on the choice is by the limitations in the choice that is offered for the petite people. If there were more choice then the petite problem would not be put to so much trouble.

The choice of the sweater will ultimately boil down to having a pattern that is more fashionable and make the person seem tall. If the choice of the sweater is on the pattern then one will have to base their decision on the opinion of the friends more than on their own judgment.
