Here’s a little taster
I have friends that work in a variety of fields – though given the nature of Canberra most work in fields that assist others – teachers, public servants, policemen, etc.

I’m also fortunate enough to have two friends who are nurses – and they tell me nursing tales. Which are both disgusting and informative.

Last night I learned a new phrase. The phrase which is apparently the descriptive given to a guy who has a partial erection due to a full bladder. I had one this morning in fact. Apparently its a common reaction as seen in old dudes with catheters.

That descriptive is “Piss Fattie”.

But as a front page splash, it demeans the story to the level of cute human interest, rather than serious breakthrough. It leaves me thinking:

What Are Nice Boys Like You Doing With a Newspaper?

Author: Yiping Huang, Peking University and ANU

When Mao Zedong arrived in Beijing sixty years ago with his comrades from Yan-an, a remote town in Northwestern Shaan-xi province, he probably did not intend to ban free markets across the country. The socialist transformation began when Mao set his eyes on overtaking the United States. This was to be achieved, according to him, through the development of heavy industries, especially the steel industry.
